To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - nose height.

Dear Dogs and Cats,

The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years -- canine or feline attendance is not required.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough!

To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our front door:
To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. (That's why they call it "fur"niture.)
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

Remember: In many ways, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less
2. Don't ask for money all the time
3 Are easier to train
4. Normally come when called
5. Never ask to drive the car
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
7. Don't smoke or drink
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions
9. Don't want to wear your clothes
10. Don't need a "gazillion" dollars for college.

And finally,
11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

I had a WONDERFUL time on the cruise. It was GREAT to get away for a while. I have a lot of pics on facebook. perhaps i'll post some on here later...Being at work really sucks after a wonderful vacation. Actually, I'm at work now, and I am soooo bored. I want to go home. 40 more min. 12 hour days are really long. Anyway, I should be back in school in 7 months and I'm sure I will be wishing I had more free time at that point. Not a lot of exciting news.

BIG UPDATES!

I had a GREAT weekend! Saturday afternoon I received my acceptance letter into Physical Therapy!! :) Who HOO! I have been waiting for it to come for weeks! I have been working on getting accepted into PT school for the past several years so it is very rewarding to finally get accepted! I will continue to work at the hospital untill classes begin, but I don't think I"l be able to work full time after that so we shall see what happens. Classes do not begin untill next August (Just weeks after I will be getting married!). It is a three year program, but I will have a masters (or doctorate) after I complete it! The program is currently a masters program, but they are in the process of making it a doctorate program.

Besides etting my acceptance letter our football team now has a winning season! We are 4-3. Which doesnt sound that bad but our only losses are to Texas (#1 in the country), UCLA (#8), and TCU (#18). So I don't really feel too bad about our reccord. Hopefully we will be able to win a couple more before the season is over! We can hope at least.

I should have played the lottery this weekend :) Well, I am gong to fill out my acceptance forms and get those in the mail!

USC moves down!!!

The Big 12 has taken over the #1 Spot in the nation! Again, unfortunately it's not OU, but as long as USC is ousted, I dont care who it is! I never thought I would be so happy to see texas win...but USC is NO LONGER #1 ...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Get'em Horns!

I had a really good weekend. Besides the end rusult in the football game of course. I was not expecting to go to the OU/TX game, but my grandmother game me her tickets and said she 'expected me to cheer for her'. What was I suppose to do? I had to go. We had a pretty good time despite loosing. Texas has a very good team this year, but the calls on the field didn't help us out any. I think Texas got the upperhand on that. But, our team did look better on the field. Which is a huge plus. Well, I work tuesday thru thursday this week. I am going to Austin (I know, bad timing) to attend a little family reunin kind of thing with Angelas family. It should be a lot of fun though. (I hope!). Oh, we were given a new tv this weekend too. It is much bigger than the tv I already had, and it is too big to fit into the entertainment center, so I had to put it on th dresser in the bedroom. What a live. Perhaps this will be more of a reason to finally get a new entertainment center....well see. The time for my cruise quickly approaching. I am going on a 10nighter with my parents, brother/sister in law, and of course Angela. We are going to have soooo much fun. I can't wait. Well, time for bed, I have to be up early. Lata!

?

So I have come to the conclusion that I am really bad at updating this...I am considering closing it. Perhaps that would be better. I mean it's not like people really check it daily or even monthly since I'm not updating. I really enjoy reading other peoples blogs. I tend to check many peoples daily. Especially Angela, Joey, Lofin, Schaller(until he closed it again??), Nat, and several others...but I SUCK at updating mine. I mean it’s not like people really need to read my thoughts do they? No.

I would post more often if I had a lot of good news, or exciting things happening all of the time, but the excitement that I get is usually at work (I am liking my job for the most part, for a job that is). And most of that is highly confidential, so I can't talk about it in grave detail, and really shouldn’t put it on the internet for everyone to read. So that really limits me. I have been thinking lately, perhaps I need begin something new that will give me something to do. I am beginning to get board on my days off. I am just so use to being busy that it is a big change. I don’t have the house to keep my busy, or school/studying. that has taken a LOT of time for the past couple years because I was taking a LOT of hours and working very hard to get good grades so I can get into grad school.

Speaking of, I should hear back from OU very soon. I reapplied for PT school. Through an early admit program I SHOULD be guaranteed acceptance for next fall because I think I meet all of the requirements (GPA, GRE scores, all prerequisites completed with an A or B etc). But I haven't heard anything yet. I really expect to hear something this week....next week at the latest. I miss not being in school. And I hope that I will be back in school next year. The break will be very nice, but I'm already getting to the point where I want to get back in...Oh well.

Anyway, In case you didn't know I have been working at Norman Regional Hospital, for the past 2 months in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The sickest people in the hospital are in our unit. I have some really interesting stories from my patients, but I can’t necessarily share them all...in detail...sorry :). I am still teaching CPR classes for the hospital. Pretty much one class a week. My job in ICU is on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 7am to 7pm. Meaning I go to bed early now. It gives me a LOT of free time. I am taking a class later on this month so that I can begin working in the monitor room (a room with computer screens of certain patients that have a wireless monitor of their heart rhythms, blood pressure etc etc etc. Basically I would monitor patient’s vital signs on a computer and call the nurse if something changed. Lots of reading (for pleasure) from what I hear! I'll keep u posted....assuming I still post.

Hope all is well. Leave me a response and let me know who really reads this thing...perhaps that will have a factor on whether I post more often (or at all?)

So I am alive...

I have a LOT to post! But, since I am having a watch party for the OU game, I'll make it short. Everything is going GREAT. Details to follow! Promise. But for now...

Two boys are playing football at a park in Norman, Oklahoma when one
>> of the boys is suddenly attacked by a crazed Rottweiler. Thinking
>> quickly, the other boy takes a stick and shoves it under the dog's
>> collar, twists it, and breaks the dog's neck, thus saving his
>> friend. A sports reporter who was strolling by sees the incident and
>> rushes over to interview the boy. He tells the boy he's going to
>> write the story and says, "I'll title it, 'Young Sooner Fan Saves
>> Friend From Vicious Animal.'"
>>
>> "But I'm not a Sooner fan," the little hero replies.
>>
>> "Sorry, since we're in Norman, I just assumed you were," says the
>> reporter and he starts writing again. He asks, "How does 'Young
>> Cowboy Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Animal Attack' sound?"
>>
>> "I'm not a Cowboy fan, either," the boy says.
>>
>> "Oh, I thought everyone in Oklahoma was either for the Sooners or the
>> Cowboys. What team do you root for?"
>>
>> "I'm from Austin. I'm just visiting my cousin, I'm a Longhorn fan,"
>> the boy replies. "They're the best!"
>>
>> The reporter smiles, starts a new sheet in his notebook, and writes,
>> "Little Redneck Bastard From Texas Kills Beloved Family Pet".

Funny Joke!!

I am alive, and I will post a much needed update tomorrow. Untill then...

TONY
Maria had just gotten married and, being a traditional Italian, she was still a virgin. On her wedding night, staying at her mother's house, she was very nervous. Her mother reassured her, "Don't worry, Maria, Tony's a good man. Go upstairs and he'll take care of you. Meanwhile, I'll be making pasta." So, up she went. When she got upstairs, Tony took off his shirt and exposed his hairy chest. Maria ran downstairs to her mother and says, "Mama, Tony's got a big hairy chest." "Don't worry, Maria," says the mother, "all good men have hairy chests. Go upstairs. He'll take good care of you." So, up she went, again. When she got up in the bedroom, Tony took off his pants, exposing his hairy legs. Again, Maria ran downstairs to her mother. "Mama, Tony took off his pants and he's got hairy legs!" "Don't worry, all good men have hairy legs. Tony's a good man. Go upstairs and he'll take good care of you." So, up she went. When she got there, Tony took off his socks and on his left foot, he was missing three toes. When Maria saw this, she ran downstairs.

"Mama, Tony's got a foot and a half!" "Stay here," says Mama, "and stir the pasta."

I am Employed

Well, the search is finally over. I have finally made my decision, and I have a job! YEA! I will be working at Norman Regional Hospital. I will be a Unit Secertary for the Intensive Care Unit. Basically, I will read patient charts, input orders into the computer system, call doctors, etc. I should be pretty exciting, plus it should help me in Physical Therapy. The best part is that I will only be working three days a week! The bad part is that I will be working from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Oh well, it will be worth it. I will be able to continue teaching CPR (one class per week) and I should have the oportunity to sign up for overtime too. :)

Well, Casey is finally back from France (he was studying abroad this past semester) and we are hanging out this evening. Perhaps a little O'Connells for old times.

Angela is here now so I am going to go give her a BIG hug and an even BIGGER kiss! Jelous??

Tuesday, July 05, 2005

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend. I didn't do a whole lot. After finishing my homework (summer school sucks) Angela and I had dinner with my parents. It was really good....we had steak and potatoes! yumm. Then we went to watch the fireworks. The 4th wasn't as good as it usually is. I generally have a lot of family I town, but not this year. After watching the fireworks we went to my grandparent’s house and sat around in the hot tub. It was fun, but we stayed out way to late.

My job interview went very well this afternoon. I am suppose to hear back from them this afternoon or tomorrow to find out exactly how much I will be getting paid. Not as much as I would like, but then again is it ever enough? Actually I think it probably is, because I get paid very very well teach CPR. In fact, if I accept this job I will be able to continue teaching CPR a couple times a month! That's easy money. Plus, the position is 3 twelve hour shifts each week. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Meaning I could possible get another job to get some extra hours.

I should find out about the position I applied for in the Union this week as well. Funny how I couldn't even get someone to talk to me at the beginning of the summer, now it seems i may have to choose which job to accept....

Thursday, June 30, 2005

So...I have been busy doing a lot of nothing. I have turned in more résumé’s than I can count. I am still hoping for a job at Huffman. Perhaps I can use my degree!! Other than that I have applied for a job in the Union. It is the Union Programming Board Advisor. I think it sounds pretty neat. We shall see soon if I am offered the position. I did get a call this morning from Norman Regional Hospital. I have an interview on Tuesday for a Unit Secretary position in ICU. I am not really sure I want to be a unit secretary in ICU. The pay is ok. The benefits are great. It would be 7a-7p on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Can't beat the schedule. We shall see though, everything works out for a reason. Hummm, other than that I'm just kickin it.

Angela and I got NCAA 2004 Football for the game cube. Its a lot of fun. I have beaten the #1 team on the game already. It's fun! I can't wait for FB season to begin....more later. Time to head home for some guacamole!!

All you cat lovers are going to hate this, but I thought it was to funny to pass up!

This is the building. My apartment is upstairs. The corner closest in the picture.

Many people have asked me to include more pictures of my future apartment. This is the bathroom...no, I'm just kidding, it's really the bedroom....

Here is a shoutout to Natalie! Perhaps she will be in town Saturday...if so we are going to go to O'Connell's. I'm going to work on convincing her that OU is much better than OSU...Hope to see you this Weekend Natalie!

Well I still haven't heard anything about a job. Perhaps I will give in and go for a second major. At least that way I can get student loans and not worry about finding a new job. I could be a full time college student/parking garage attendent forever. My kids would be so proud.

Girls

Ok, it seems I need some major help in understanding the female race. I thought I was doing pretty darn well, but apparently I was wrong. Tyler is back from her intersession class in Puerto Rico, and since she has been back all she can talk about it this new guy that she has been dating. Don't get me wrong, this is much better than having her nag or even worse bitch about something, but give me a break....its all Jason, Jason, Jason. I am very glad that she has found someone that she really likes, and he seems to be a pretty good guy...but here is what happened last night.

Tyler begins by telling about her weekend (she was with Jason all weekend, her new BF). They went to 2 weddings (for different people) this weekend, and seemed to have a really good time. Great, awesome. However, Tyler and Angela then begin talking about weddings themselves. Obviously I am alright with Angela discussing weddings, since we are having our own in about a year. We have discussed and even made plans for many different parts of the wedding event. (I say wedding event because apparently you have to have showers, rehearsal dinners, the wedding itself, reception, gifts for everyone, etc, etc, etc, and then the honeymoon!) Things for pictures basically...anyway, Tyler spent the whole evening talking about what kind of ring she wants, when she wants to be proposed to, the wedding date itself, where the rehearsal dinner will be held, what will be served, the wedding party, honeymoon, even where they will spend holidays!!! Under Norman circumstances this would be...ok, I guess. But they have only been dating for a month, perhaps a little longer, no more than two months though...of which over 2 weeks she was out of the country...Give me a break. If you want to run a guy off that’s the way to do it. arrgggghhhh. girls.

Well, that’s enough for now. If you have any ideas why girls are so complicated, feel free to enlighten us all.

A Good Joke

Jane lost her husband almost four years ago and still hasn't gotten out of her mourning stage. Her daughter is constantly calling her and urging her to get back into the real world. Finally, Jane says that she's ready to go out, but doesn't know anyone. Her daughter immediately replies, "Mom! I have someone for you to meet." Well, it was an immediate hit. They took to one another and after dating for six weeks, he asks her to join him for a weekend in the Catskills. On their first night there, they start undressing.
Jane takes everything off, except for a pair of black lace panties; he is in his birthday suit.
Looking at Jane, he asks, "Why the black panties?" She replies, "My breasts you can fondle, my body is yours to explore, but down there I am still in mourning." He knows he's not getting lucky that night.
The following night, the same scenario occurs. She's standing there with her black panties on and he is completely naked; only this time, he is wearing a black condom.
She looks at him and asks, "What's with the black condom?"
He replies, "I want to offer my deepest condolences."

So here I am again. Twice in one week! Let’s see, as I was typing yesterday Angela showed up at work with lunch for me! What a nice surprise. In case you didn't know, Last week Angela and I went to Albuquerque NM. Tyler was supposed to join us, but she backed out the day before we left. Haven't really seen that girl in nearly a month because she had an intersession class in Puerto Rico, and since she came back to Norman we have all been really busy. Her but still stinks though. And she is transferring to cow town (Stillwater) in the Fall so I guess I'll see even less of her then...Oh well, we had fun in Albuquerque without her. The reason for going to Albuquerque was for Angela to get lasik surgery. Just before the surgery they gave her zanax, which made her completely goofy. I took several videos on my phone. She was falling out of her chair, and at one point crawled around on the floor to pick up a Kleenex. Good times.

I guess I need to fill out a couple applications this evening so that I can turn them in tomorrow. My summer class is online and isn’t finished until August 1st, but I think I'm about ready to begin working a real job. Sitting here at the parking garage is just sooo boring. I haven’t found the perfect job where I work 30 hours a week and bring home over $60,000 as a recent college grad...I'm still working on it though. Perhaps I should work as a Jiggalo or a beer quality assurance manager (getting paid to drink FREE beer!). I can hope, but until then I shall keep applying. I'm sure to get a job soon.

I'm getting really excited about moving. I have absolutely loved living in the Fraternity house, but I definitely think it is time to move on. I think I am really going to like the apartment that I am moving into as well (or I hope I like it). I'm also excited about 'officially' living with Angela. We spend pretty much all of our time together anyhow, so we might as well. As long as we keep the place clean we shouldn't have much to fight over!

Well, I'm getting really hungry so I'm going to close up and head home. Everyone have a great weekend....

Wednesday, June 08, 2005

So it has been brought to my attention that I haven't posted in a while. boo hoo! jk! Lets see, my intersession class is complete...I received another A! I have now began my final class...it is an online class, entitled understanding statistics. I think it wil be pretty boring, but atleast it is online! I have begun looking for a job. I'll keep you posted on that. Since I am taking my final class (untill next year when I am in grad school) I really need a good full time job. I have a few prospects, but Angela is here now so I will post later.

THE ONE

I've met someone. It's all happened very fast, and it's still very much a blur, but I've absolutely found The One.

I've been going through a lot lately, and there's always been this girl around to make me feel better, to help me through the night, to calm me down or straighten me out or clear me up when I needed it.

She's never even seen me well. I've been sick the entire time we've been together. Sick with a sinus infection. I've been on Codine, Sudafed, Tavist, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Lortab, and now finally, after an ENT's more comprehensive diagnosis on Thursday, I am on Steroids and antibiotics of some sort for what is now known to be a sinus infection. The entire time we've been together - if "together" is really the term to use, though we haven't been "together" long enough to really call it "together" anyway - I've been under the weather and she, like a princess or a goddess or even a savior, has been there to help me, to carry me through, to give me a reason to be happy when I could barely breathe.

I need her. I really do. I know it's all gone by so fast and it seems like just yesterday we first met eyes because it nearly was just yesterday when in fact it's been only and barely slightly longer than that, but I need her in a way that defies time or history or rule.

The soft, gentle touch against my skin makes her all the more necessary. I miss her when she's gone, though I never really lose her completely because when I need more of her I know it's only a reasonable drive to attain her. And what a drive it would be, short but would feel like a lifetime until I get more of her, exciting but with nervous anticipation of feeling her again, holding her against me and feeling her quiver as I take in the air between us. It's like a real love story; she's there when I need her, and she takes care of me when I can't take care of myself.

It's a love nurtured from necessity but brought truly to a great and mature connection. At this moment in my life I simply cannot exist without her. It's amazing how such a bond comes so quickly. I can't explain it, but she's been so essential to my health that I would be raw, damaged, and sore without her. I cannot get enough of what she gives me, and she gives me only so much that I have to have more.

The relationship does have a weird twist though: I blow her. I love her. She has been my sole companion these last few days. We've grown very close; shared my bed, my couch, my car; we've watched movies together, told jokes, laughed, cried.

She gives me 500 reasons to love her. And I go over them every day until I drive that glorious mile to Walgreens to have her again. Yesterday I had her twice in one day, had to buy bulk but it worked out well because Walgreen's had a sale. Trisha loves me enough to be considerate of my finances as well as my health.

This is Trisha.

Trisha

The way she's touched my skin as I've blown my nose a million times throughout this horrible infection has kept my nose soft and smooth, not raw and sore like those other tissues and toilet papers I've been with in the past. This is different, but I'm afraid Trisha and I are nearing the end of our relationship though. As the Steroids relieve the swelling and the antibiotics heal my sinuses and throat, we're simply growing apart. I don't need Trisha like I used to. Why can a love that has come so fast fade with such bittersweet dismay?

It's Time

We had a great time last night. A lot of my family was in town, and Angela's family as well. We had a cookout and a lot of fun. Graduation is in about 2 hours! I'll post pictures later! Have a great day!

Thursday, May 12, 2005

I had a lot of fun last night. I finished with finals yesterday, and did the taxes for the house (business taxes are not due on April 15!) so several of us thought it would be a good idea to go drink. And drink we did! Angela and I meet Adam and his girlfriend, Chris and Amy, Jarred Howeiller, Tyler Wear and a few others at O'Connells. We drank a lot. We talked about the house and how it has changed in the past five years, and how well it is doing. Were all going to miss it, but it's time to move on to bigger and better things!

Angela looked really good last night too. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me so i can't share...your loss!

We ran into several old friends last night as well. Angela got to talk with few Zeta's (or should I say x-Zeta?)...the ones that she actually liked in the house. Unlike that Tyler girl that she hangs out with!!! :) We also say Jessica DG and Danielle. They both seem to be doing very well. They both said they love Angela’s ring, except I think they say that every time they see it...oh well, I'm just good!

I noticed this morning that there is a margarita glass in the kitchen...I think it came from O'Connells. Oops! Guess I'll just add it to the collection...

I think I'm going to watch a movie now...since I have NOTHING to study for!

I'm Alive!!!

Wow I haven't posted in a long, long time. Where should I begin...We had our senior formal a couple weeks ago. I posted a few pictures from it, I will post more! We had a really good time. We ate at the Olive garden and pre-partied at Angela's house (like you care). It was a really good 'last' date party. I am definitely going to miss them in the future...good thing recent alumni can still attend date party's!

Following the date party we had our annual senior/awards banquet. It's always a lot of fun. My parents and Angela came with me! :) I wasn't really expecting it, but I received the, 'Brother of the Year' award. Basically the chapter votes on someone who they feel has been a great example/leader/brother in the house. I am very proud to join Josh Hammers and my pledge brother/suitemate Chris Beaudoin as a recipient. It's really silly, but it's kinda like a big 'thank you' for everything that I've done in the past five years! I was and still have very happy about receiving it!

Lets see, about two weeks ago Ryan took over as the house treasurer. He is going to do a good job I'm sure. I have had a lot more free time now that I do not have to worry about the chapter finances! I am still helping Ryan out when he needs it. For instance, I did the chapter's taxes this afternoon....man I am glad to have that completed. It sucks.

Lets see, I took my last final this morning! I am really excited about graduating Saturday! I have worked my ass of for the past year and a half to graduate. Since last January, I have completed 64 hours! (and as long as I got a 4.0 this semester, which I think I did, then 55 of those hours are all A's) That’s a lot of summer school and intersession. On the plus side after I finish my May intersession and June summer class I will be done for over a year! I am taking Developmental Psy in May, and Understanding Stats in June. As long as I get an A or B in those two classes I have been told that I am guaranteed acceptance into the Fall 06 Physical Therapy program!

Well, now that I have a break from school and the house I will work on posting several times a week! pictures too!!! Graduation is this weekend so I will let you know all about it, until then....

Guess what she did with the bottle when it was empty...PADRE style!!!

My brother needs to get a room...

What a nerd!

My date to the Senior Formal...lucky me!

Well the semester is quickly winding down. I have a lot of things to do in the next two weeks. The joy of finals! All in all things are going alright. Could be a lot worse. Mostly Im just tired, but I'm sure that will linger for the next couple weeks :( On a plus though, my office was officially vacated this evening. I have been replaced by Ryan. I'm sure he will do a great job...I'm sure he is overwhelmed right now! I am REALLY excited about the formal Friday night...I'll post more about it later, and pictures too.

Is it weird that I am excited about having a date this evening??? I mean, I'm about to get married and I'm sure some of you go out on more 'dates' than I do...humm. Is it even more weird that our date includes me fixing dinner (spaghetti, green beans, toast), and a movie (there are a couple movies at the dollar theater that we want to see: so were going on a date to the dollar theater), followed by an evening at O'Connels (with Tyler and other friends of course) ???

Either way, I'm sure we will have a lot of fun and many drinks for you too!

GO PHI DELT!!!!

Our house has completely dominated this year. We were #1 in grades last spring, #7 last fall, we have 2 members on IFC exec (including the IFC president), and coutless other members involved with CAC exec etc...All of our hard work has finally paid off. This afternoon President David Boren announced Phi Delt as the winner of this years President Trophy! :)

For everyone who has no idea what the president's trophy is, let me fill you in. It is a huge honor from President Boren. Boren and his wife look at everything the fraternities and sororities have accomplished (or not accomplished) and choice the house that they think has been the best on campus that year. Along with this great honor we get a trophy that is about 5 1/2 feet tall! Nearly as tall as most of us! It is truly awesome. We alro received a very very large check as a prize! We are extremely excited!

Well, besides that great news about the house, I don't really have anything new to share. It is moms weekend, so for the last time my mother will be coming over to the house to hang out :( I am going to miss not living in the house. I have really enjoyed it, but I guess all good things must come to an end: so that even better things may begin! perhaps it is about time to have a wedding!:)

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend! Enjoy the weather, I am!

:)

"Oh the weather outside is beautiful, and my dear, I'm so, forgetful (because I do not know all of the words, and I tend to change some of them on purpose, others on accident!), but since we've no place to go, let it snow let it snow let it snow!"...wait, lets skip the snow part. The weather has been awesome lately though!!! I'm weird, I know...but I'm comfortable with that.

I am currently at work just having the time of my life. I haven't felt very good in the past week. I think I had bronchitis and a sinus infection (or something like that). I still have my terrible cough, but other than that I feel great. It hurts a lot when I cough, especially when I do it a lot.

I'm so ready for this weekend. We are having a date party with Kappa Sig, (this is not what I am looking forward to). I am looking forward to the drunken debauchery and dancing with my fiance! Later this month we are having a camp out date party. I think it will be really neat. We are going out to a pasture, and will drink/hang out with a camp fire all night long. And when we get too tired, or too drunk, we will resign back to our tents and sleep! sounds like a lot of fun to me. Towards the end of the month is our senior date party and banquet! This is most exciting. Probably because I will be GRADUATING in May, but aso because it is a Formal...and we are doing Boxer Rebellion! YEA.

Well, I think I'm going to do something..not sure what, but I'm going to go do it. Everyone have a GREAT day and an AWESOME weekend!

HEY

I don't feel so good today. I have been feeling sick since Sunday. I am coughing up some really colorful stuff! I did go ahead and give in and give the doctor a call this afternoon. Hopefully I will be on some kick ass antibiotics and will feel better this weekend. Speaking of this weekend, I think we are going to drive up to Tulsa and do brunch with angel's family. That should be fun.

I had a set back this afternoon as well. Well, sorta. I got a letter from the Health Science Center this afternoon. While I did not get accepted into the program, I was chosen as an alternate. Which isn't a flat denial, but it's not what I was hoping for. There were at least 160-180 applicants for the program, and it looks like I was chosen somewhere around 85....which isn't bad, except that they are only accepting 60 students this year. So, if there are 25ish students that deny their acceptance, or chose to attend other schools, then I am in....untill then, I must wait. I think I am going to retake 3 classes in the Fall, so that I can apply again next year for the early admit program...my GPA will also be higher, which will help a lot.

Well, I am tired, so I guess I'm going to work on getting some sleep...later
